The air at 15,000 feet is thin, but the spirit of our pilgrims was thicker than ever. As we approached the foot of Mount Kailash, the silence was broken only by the rhythmic chanting of "Om Namah Shivaya". It was more than a trek; it was a transition of the soul.
"The mountain does not let you climb it; it invites you to surrender to its presence."
During the three-day Parikrama, we witnessed moments of pure devotion. One elderly pilgrim, despite the biting cold at Drölma La Pass, insisted on performing his prayers with bare hands in the snow. It is these moments that define the 3Jewel experience.
